This 400 grit half-round sandpaper stick is a versatile hand tool for super fine polishing, shaping, and deburring in jewellery, watchmaking, and precision metalwork. Measuring 225mm in length, 13mm in width, and 5mm in thickness, the stick features a flat side and a gently curved surface, allowing you to work effectively on both flat planes and concave or domed shapes.

With super fine 400 grit abrasive, this tool is ideal for intermediate to final-stage surface refinement, bridging the gap between rough shaping and ultra-fine finishing.

Ideal for Versatile Finishing Tasks

Use this half-round stick to:

• Smooth curved surfaces like ring shanks, bezels, or bracelet edges
• Refine flat areas before polishing
• Remove fine tool marks or casting seams
• Debur small parts and internal curves

The 400 grit level offers a fine, even abrasion that’s aggressive enough to remove surface inconsistencies, but fine enough to preserve detail and form. It leaves a matte, pre-polish finish and can be followed by 600 or 1000 grit sticks for a flawless transition to high shine.

File-Like Handling with Abrasive Flexibility
