This 0.5mm thick red copper sheet (Cu100) is a high-purity, oxygen-free copper material ideal for use in jewellery making, metal forming, enamelling, embossing, and small-scale fabrication. Known for its excellent malleability, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance, this copper sheet is highly responsive to both forming and surface treatments, making it a reliable base metal for a wide range of creative and functional applications.

The sheet is available in three practical sizes to suit different workshop needs:

• 12.5 × 25 cm – Ideal for small projects, samples, and decorative elements

• 25 × 25 cm – Suitable for bangles, cuffs, pendants, and mid-sized pieces

• 50 × 25 cm – Offers ample surface area for larger work or production batches

Workability and Finishing

At 0.5mm thickness, this sheet offers an excellent balance of flexibility and structural integrity. It can be:

• Cut, sawn, or sheared with hand tools or metal shears

• Textured, stamped, or roll-printed for decorative effects

• Soldered or brazed using silver or copper solder

• Patinated for a variety of oxidised finishes (reds, browns, greens)

• Enamelled, thanks to its clean surface and high copper content

It’s also an ideal surface for etching, as it responds well to both acid and electro-etching processes.

This copper is classified as Cu100, meaning it contains ~99.9% pure copper, ensuring a consistent surface and high conductivity. It is oxygen-free and suitable for work requiring fine detailing, heat treatment, or chemical surface processes.
